TASTING- ROSCATO ROSSO DOLCE

Today... we will be exploring the depths of wine in tasting Roscato Rosso Dolce. This non-vintage wine is made by Fabrizio Marinconz in the region of Northern Italy in Lombardy. This wine is made from a blend of native and international red grape varieties and costs $11.99.

According to drizly.com intense aromas of blackberries and ripe wild berries. Fresh, lively and frizzante with a soft lingering finish. This wine made from three native grape varieties, Croatine , Teroldego and Lagrein. According to palmbay.com this wine is a ruby red wine with ripe fruit flavors like cherry and strawberry. It is fresh, lively and frizzante with a soft lingering finish. I could not agree more. Personally this is my girlfriend and I's favorite wine ever. We have had probably 6 bottles by the time of writing this review. We have enjoyed it with several meals, our first time was drinking a glass of it while enjoying a pizza which made the wine taste even more sweet and fruity. To me this wine is a very soft bodied wine with tons of flavors of strawberry and blackberries. This wine hits the nose with a slight fizziness and hits your tongue running. According to wine folly page 129, the wine grape used most in this has tastes of boysenberry, strawberry, blackberry and raisin that scales with warmer climate respectively. Hence, why this wine tastes so much of strawberry, since it is grown in northern Italy. Overall, great wine and would highly recommend with any dish.
