Tasting - Relax Riesling

Today... we will be exploring the depths of wine in tasting this 2021 Relax Riesling. This wine is made from the Riesling grape, originally from the vineyards of Schmitt Sohne in the Mosel wine region in Germany and cost $10.99.
According to winepros.org, this Riesling is of excellent value. From the price point to the ripeness and crispy personality, this wine has delicate floral fragrances to jammy fruit flavors and I couldn't agree more. From initial smell I detected hints of green apple, pie, flowers and raspberry. Upon first sip I noted it was a sweeter Riesling, with a green apple taste in the beginning, a wildflower bitterness to the middle and a raspberry sweet and tartness near the end. According to Wine Folly page 88, these flavors of sweet and tartness go along with traditional Riesling, especially the green apple taste. Overall great wine, would recommend eating with an Asian dish, ours was paired with a Mongolian Beef Ramen which was pretty good!
